Episode Context

Coming off Episode 8's harrowing encounter inside the Horramid maze, this episode offers a tonal reset while pushing the journey forward into new territory. Geartown serves as a deliberate change of scenery and pace, expanding the show's world-building at the early-quarter mark of its 38-episode run. The introduction of Soda signals that the roster and challenges are still evolving, setting the stage for the arcs and confrontations ahead.
