Episode Context

As the first of three episodes in this OVA follow-up, this installment functions as the essential reset point, reestablishing Lamune's circumstances post-Earth return and introducing the central threat that will drive the remaining two episodes. It bridges the conclusion of the original NG Knight Ramune & 40 series into this new chapter, carrying forward established relationships while signaling that the stakes and dynamics are shifting. What gets introduced here sets the conflict and emotional tensions that episodes two and three will push to resolution.
