Episode Context

As episode one of three, 'The Cursed City' carries the full burden of establishment, introducing Kenshiro, Sanga, Last Land, and the central conflict from scratch with no prior OVA episodes to lean on. Everything here is foundation: the world, the stakes, the power imbalance. It feeds directly into episode two, 'The Forbidden Fist,' where the confrontation framework built here begins to ignite.
