Synopsis
When Souta Kazami reconnects with his ex-girlfriend Mizuki Suzumori, what starts as a second chance at something real quickly turns into something much more painful. This is a story about jealousy, betrayal, and the particular kind of hurt that comes from loving someone who isn't entirely yours anymore. It does not go easy on you. The tone is dark and genuinely uncomfortable — which is kind of the point. T-Rex studio gives it a distinctive visual style that feels more grounded than typical entries in this space, and the single 16-minute runtime means the emotional weight hits fast without much room to breathe. There's no padding here. If you've seen Netoshisu and appreciated how that handled infidelity with actual dramatic weight rather than just as a backdrop, this sits in similar territory. It's not a feel-good watch by any stretch, and it's not trying to be. Think of it less as entertainment and more as a short, bleak character study about two people and the mess between them. If emotionally heavy, adult-oriented OVAs interest you — the kind that leave you a little unsettled rather than satisfied — this one episode does a decent job of delivering exactly that in a compact format. Go in knowing the mood, and it works.
