Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the season, this episode transitions from the interpersonal tensions addressed in the previous episode into a focused academic pressure-cooker scenario. It gives the ensemble cast, particularly the lowest-achieving students, room to breathe and grow before the story reveals the consequences of their efforts. The episode directly sets up the follow-up entry 'We Live and Learn,' making it a necessary bridge rather than a standalone detour.
