EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Nodoka's unexpected entry into a Pactio with Negi in the previous episode, this installment slows the pace to explore what those magical contracts actually mean for the characters involved. Sitting at episode five of twenty-six, it is still firmly in the series' establishment phase, using Chamo's scheming to gradually expand the Pactio framework that will drive the season's central conflicts moving forward.
