Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the season, this episode follows the Class 3-A espionage subplot driven by Ayaka's suspicions and pivots the club's attention toward the Black Rose Baron, a figure whose significance is still taking shape. It deepens the Chupacabra Research Club's role as an unlikely investigative force within the series' broader comedic mystery framework. The groundwork laid here, around the Baron and the club's dynamics, signals that the back half of the season will start tightening its longer-running threads.
