lelouch_lamperouge★★★★☆EP 1seeing Naoto overexert himself while he was already sick was kind of stressful but at least Akira was there to take care of him and the birthday makeup session was intense
Kokoro Yamihara seems completely ordinary to everyone around her in the small town of Mizumori, quiet, kind, the sort of person everyone likes. Her boyfriend Toramatsu is popular and well-meaning, and they seem like a perfectly normal couple. Except Kokoro is a vampire who refuses to hurt anyone, and both of them are hiding things from each other that could unravel everything. That tension alone would make for a compelling watch, but then a new murder shows up: body drained of blood, echoing a string of unsolved killings from five years ago, and suddenly the town is scared again and Kokoro is in a very complicated position. The story keeps its focus tight on the relationship and the emotional weight of living a double life rather than leaning into action or gore. It's more about the slow erosion of trust and what it costs to love someone while keeping secrets than it is about vampire mythology. If you liked the eerie small-town atmosphere of Shiki or the emotional tension in Vampire Knight, this sits comfortably in that space, though it feels closer to a quiet thriller than either of those. The mystery element adds real stakes without overwhelming the character work. It's the kind of show where the most interesting drama isn't the murders, it's two people circling around truths they're both afraid to say out loud.
lelouch_lamperouge★★★★☆EP 1seeing Naoto overexert himself while he was already sick was kind of stressful but at least Akira was there to take care of him and the birthday makeup session was intense
senkaimon_sentry★★★★☆EP 1You can tell Akira really cares about him because she was working that double shift just to get him something nice even if it backfired when she got drunk
misato_katsuragi★★★★☆EP 1That bath scene at the start was definitely a choice since Naoto ended up getting sick and then he just wanted more anyway
xigbar★★★★☆EP 1I felt so bad for Akira when she realized she missed the birthday and that crying scene was actually kind of sweet for a show like this
jeremiah_gottwald_175★★★★☆EP 1the transition from Akira crying her eyes out over a missed celebration to them going at it was sudden but it fit the vibe of their relationship perfectly
silentotaku★★★★☆EP 1you can really tell how much they love each other by how Akira reacted to missing the birthday and Naoto coming to pick her up despite being the birthday boy himself
animemaster99★★★★☆EP 1Akira accidentally downing that drink at work and getting totally wasted was probably the most relatable part and the way she got so sad about the time passing felt very real
queen_nehelenia★★★☆☆EP 1It was a bit of a weird start with the bath scene leading to a cold but I actually liked how much Akira cares about Naoto. Seeing her breakdown over the missed birthday really showed how much she values their time together. It went from a total accident with the drink to a really intense night and they made the most of it
skull_kid★★★☆☆EP 1the way Naoto keeps distracting Akira with sex even when he is supposed to be resting with a fever is pretty wild and she just goes along with it every single time
kaguya_sama_161★★★★☆EP 1watching Akira get all worked up over the double pay only to accidentally get drunk on a leftover drink was a mess and seeing her get so emotional about missing the birthday was heavy
yamamoto_yakuza_465★★★★☆EP 1Naoto catching a cold because they stayed in the bath too long is such a specific and funny way to start things off and Akira trying to nurse him back to health was actually sweet
rito_288★★★☆☆EP 1I really liked the way Naoto handled Akira when she was crying about his birthday, and the way they ended up celebrating in the end was definitely a choice
moryo_mystic_97★★★★☆EP 1I felt so bad when Akira realized she missed the birthday because of that drink and started crying and then they just decided to make up for it right then
brook_bard★★★★☆EP 1my heart melted when sora gave her that drink and she just immediately turned into a total sweetheart because their dynamic is just so comfy
white_324★★★☆☆EP 1three minutes is way too short for this show and seeing chisato act like a spoiled kid with that drunk face is the funniest thing ever
aobozu_blade_46★★★★☆EP 1The way she hides her true personality at work and only lets it out for her husband is precious, especially when she started blushing after that first sip of the cocktail Sora made
senku_scientist★★★☆☆EP 1i really love how sora treats her and him making that plum sours for her at the end of a long day is exactly why they are the cutest couple
vesper098★★★☆☆EP 1The way they went from the bath scene to Naoto being bedridden with a cold was surprisingly smooth for this kind of show. Watching Akira get drunk by accident was a bit silly, but her crying over the missed birthday actually felt kind of sad. It made the final scene in the office feel like a genuine way for them to connect at the end
venusaur★★★★☆EP 1seeing chisato go from a cold office boss to that super needy and giggly mess after one drink was so cute and sora just handles it like a pro while making her that plum sours
lana★★★★☆EP 1i think the drama with the double pay and the missed birthday was handled well for a short episode and the office scene looked great
