Natural 2: Duo
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Two orphaned sisters, Chisato and Kuu, having lost their parents, grew up alongside a boy named Shōma. He was basically family — until he wasn't. He left without much explanation, and life moved on the way it does when you don't really have a choice. Years pass, and then Chisato runs into him again. He's older now, trying to make it as an actor, and all those feelings that got buried come right back up to the surface. That's the setup for Natural 2: Duo, a 4-episode OVA from Arms based on a visual novel. It's hentai, so go in knowing what you're signing up for, but the emotional core is genuinely there — the awkwardness of reconnecting with someone who used to mean everything, and figuring out what they mean now. The cherry blossom backdrop isn't just pretty; it fits the tone, that specific melancholy of things that were almost something. If you've watched Yosuga no Sora or Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and appreciated how those series handle complicated feelings between people with shared history, this scratches a similar itch in a much shorter runtime. It's not trying to be an epic. It's a quiet, nostalgic story about two sisters and the person who got away — and what happens when distance collapses.
