Natsumushi The Animation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
What happens when an average man wakes up one day with a strange ability — he can bring any woman to the edge of orgasm without even touching her directly, and that's the whole premise of Natsumushi The Animation, a two-episode OVA from 2009, and it leans fully into the weirdness of that setup. The protagonist sets his sights on a handful of women, including Tomoe, Rina, and Sumire Shirakawa, and what follows is a series of increasingly charged encounters built around this power dynamic. There's a thin thread of intrigue running underneath — who does he use this on, how do they react, what does he actually want — but the show isn't pretending to be something it isn't. It's hentai, it knows it, and the erotic tension is the point. The animation from Cafe de Jeilhouse is serviceable and fits the mood well enough, and the soundtrack keeps things atmospheric rather than awkward. If you've watched something like Bible Black or Shoujo Sect and appreciated how a central gimmick can carry a short adult series, this scratches a similar itch. It's not long — two episodes means it doesn't overstay its welcome — and the unusual ability at the center gives it just enough of a hook to feel distinct from generic entries in the genre. Low commitment, specific appeal.
