Nasty Thoughts, Dirty Deeds
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Living with a strange gift — the ability to feel what the people around him are feeling, their emotions bleeding into his awareness like background noise — is just Satoru's reality. It's an odd thing to live with, but it becomes something else entirely when the most popular girl in class confesses to him out of nowhere. As their relationship develops, his empathic ability stops being just a quirk and starts shaping how they connect on a much more personal level. He doesn't just experience his own feelings — he picks up on hers too, which makes every moment between them hit differently than it would for anyone else. It's a one-episode OVA from 2014, based on a manga, so the story is self-contained and moves quickly. The premise carries a genuinely interesting hook — empathy as intimacy — even if the execution leans into hentai territory without much hesitation. If you liked the character dynamics in something like Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo or Aneki My Sweet Elder Sister, this scratches a similar itch but with a slightly more grounded romantic setup at its core. The animation holds up for what it is, and the character writing does just enough to make you care before things get explicit. It's not trying to be anything more than what it is — a short, engaging adult OVA with a mildly clever hook that separates it from the more generic entries in the genre.
