I really appreciate how the show takes the time to show Naruto actually struggling with the Rasengan instead of just getting it immediately. Seeing him practice until his hands are a mess makes that bet with Tsunade feel so much more intense. It is also wild how much he looks like her brother Nawaki which clearly has her feeling conflicted.

Giving that necklace to Naruto feels like a death sentence once you hear what happened to the last two guys who wore it around their necks

Naruto calling out a Sannin for being a coward took a lot of guts even if he did end up getting planted in the dirt for it

Hearing about what happened to Dan and her brother makes all of Tsunade's drinking and gambling feel way more like a sad way to hide from the pain

That necklace feels like such a heavy burden to carry and it makes sense why she would just want to gamble it away at this point

It is rare to see Jiraiya act so cold and serious but the way he warned Tsunade about betraying the village felt like a totally different character
