I really liked seeing the bond between Naruto and Jiraiya grow this episode because it feels like Naruto is finally finding someone who actually cares about his progress. The way he looked so shocked when he burned his hand and how Jiraiya used the leaf symbol to help him focus shows how much they are starting to click as a team.
