I still cant get over Itachi just staring at Kakashi and putting him through three days of hell in one second because that is actually terrifying and shows just how outclassed the leaf ninja are right now

I really didn't expect the power gap between Itachi and a jōnin like Kakashi to be this massive. Seeing Kakashi get tortured for seventy-two hours in a dream world, while only a second passed for everyone else, was a huge shock to me. It makes the world feel so much bigger and more dangerous especially with Jiraiya taking Naruto away to train now that the Akatsuki are coming

That Tsukuyomi scene was brutal and it really solidifies Itachi as the ultimate villain for Sasuke to chase after while making the rest of the leaf ninja look like amateurs in comparison

Itachi is on a completely different level, and seeing him explain that only a true Uchiha can use the Sharingan properly really puts Kakashi's limits into perspective for the first time

Guy showing up and just kicking Kisame in the face was great and seeing him use his feet to avoid the genjutsu is such a smart way to counter the Sharingan

Itachi and Kisame just walking into the village like they own the place is such a massive shift in tone and the stakes feel so much higher now that the Akatsuki is finally on the move

I was so worried for Kakashi when Itachi used that Tsukuyomi move because seeing a top ninja get broken in one second is actually terrifying and makes the Akatsuki look like monsters

You can tell things are getting serious when Kakashi gets taken out that easily and now Naruto has to go off and train with Jiraiya because the village definitely cannot protect him alone

I honestly did not think the Akatsuki would move this fast, and watching Itachi drop Kakashi in literally one second was insane. It makes me really worried about Naruto if guys like this are after him for the fox. Guy showing up at the end was such a relief, because things were looking really dark for the Leaf

My stomach dropped when Itachi said he was there to take Naruto because the stakes just got ten times higher

That mangekyo sharingan look is terrifying and Itachi didn't even have to move a finger to break one of the best ninjas in the village

Kakashi deserves so much respect for keeping his sanity after being stabbed for three days in a single second

Itachi is on a completely different level than anyone we have seen so far and seeing him break Kakashi so easily with that eye trick was honestly hard to watch

I feel so bad for Kakashi after seeing him get stabbed for three days straight inside that illusion and Itachi is actually terrifying for making him experience all that in a second

It is crazy how Guy can fight without even looking at Itachi in the eyes and it makes you realize he is way more skilled than he looks in those funny scenes

Itachi telling them that only a Sharingan user can stop him felt like a massive hint about Sasuke and his future

Guy jumping in to fight those two by just looking at their feet is such a smart way to handle a Sharingan user

Seeing those flashes of the massacre while Itachi was standing there really shows why Sasuke is so messed up and desperate for power right now

I was holding my breath the whole time those swords were coming out in that genjutsu and seeing Itachi just stand there without even moving a muscle was the scariest part

Kakashi getting tortured for three days in a second is insane and he somehow kept his mind together while Kisame watched in shock

EPISODE CONTEXT

Arriving after the devastation of the Hidden Leaf Village invasion arc, this episode marks a critical pivot point as new, far more dangerous threats emerge from the shadows. Kakashi's confrontation with Itachi directly sets the stakes for the 'Search for Tsunade' arc, establishing the urgency driving the next stretch of episodes. What unfolds here has lasting consequences for character dynamics and power scaling going forward.
