It is actually wild how much of a horror movie this episode became once Gaara entered the room and tried to end Lee right then and there. Seeing Shikamaru jump in to help Naruto was a great touch, even if the physics of the shadow possession jutsu felt a bit weird when Gaara got punched and it somehow affected Naruto too
