I can't believe Orochimaru is just standing there disguised as a regular ninja and it makes my skin crawl after seeing the way he toyed with them in the woods

Anko looks totally spooked talking to the ANBU about Orochimaru and hearing that even the elite guards might not be able to stop him makes the exam feel dangerous

Having Iruka show up to greet the kids was a great touch and Naruto acting all confident about his growth shows he is actually becoming a proper ninja

Kabuto is definitely hiding something with how many times he has failed this exam on purpose and the way he lingers around Sasuke is incredibly suspicious

I really felt for Iruka at the tower because he is like a father to Naruto, and his reaction to how much they have grown in the forest was beautiful, and that explanation about the exams being a tiny war for power between villages is a dark twist that makes the stakes feel way heavier than just a simple promotion for these kids

My heart actually melted when Iruka told them they passed because he was so worried about them but he still showed up to be the one to give them the good news and he clearly cares so much for his old students

Sakura wanting Sasuke to drop out because of that curse mark was actually a really good moment for her and you can tell she is just scared for him

Iruka showing up for his students was so wholesome, and it really grounds the show before things get even darker with that Orochimaru reveal and the danger Sasuke is in

Iruka appearing at the end was so sweet and seeing him actually worry about Naruto and the others was really touching plus those scrolls were such a crazy trap
