Rock Lee and Sasuke Uchiha’s battle gives us great anticipation about the Chunin exam. It feels like there are stronger ninjas out there. Might Guy and Rock Lee’s unique character traits are funny to watch. Taijutsu, Genjutsu and Ninjutsu’s differentiation was interesting.

That giant turtle appearing out of nowhere and lecturing Lee was the weirdest thing ever and then his teacher showed up looking exactly like him

Watching Rock Lee completely dismantle the top rookie of the class was intense because it proved that training matters way more than just having fancy eyes

the vibe of the whole show just changed because we went from fighting an assassin like zabuza to seeing these kids who are even crazier and more powerful and lee is easily the one to watch because he does not even use any fancy ninja moves and he still managed to make the uchiha prodigy look like a total beginner

Neji acting all superior in the hallway was annoying, but then seeing Lee actually back up the talk by destroying Sasuke made the whole team realize they are in trouble

It is crazy that Lee is just a normal guy who works hard and he still managed to make the legendary Uchiha bloodline look completely useless in a straight hand to hand fight

You can really feel the shift in tone once they walk into that room filled with all those scary looking ninjas and Naruto just screaming at everyone was so typical of him

i am still trying to process that giant talking turtle appearing out of nowhere just to stop lee and then guy shows up on top of it looking like an older version of him

That talking turtle came out of nowhere and totally ruined the tension but then Guy showed up with those blinding teeth and made everything even weirder than it already was

Sasuke looked so confused when the Sharingan could not even keep up with Lees movement and his face was priceless

Those bandages on Lees hands really got to me because they show how many thousands of hours he must have spent hitting things to get that fast

That contrast between Lee being super polite and then almost killing Sasuke with that bandage move before the turtle stopped him and the weird master student hug happened caught me totally off guard

Lee is basically a Bruce Lee tribute and seeing him dismantle the Uchiha prodigy using nothing but raw speed and hard work was incredibly satisfying to watch

Naruto tried to jump in and got swatted away like a fly which was kind of sad but Lee is just on another level compared to the other genin I have seen

I was really surprised that the Sharingan just flat out failed against someone who just moves really fast and hits hard. Sasuke always acts like he is better than everyone because of his family, so watching him get beaten by a guy who can only use physical attacks was great. Lee is definitely my new favorite character after that performance and his weird mentor makes it even better.
