It really hits me how much Gaara has changed since the Chunin Exams, especially when he told Sakura he could handle the rest alone so he could go save Matsuri and even though this is all filler seeing him act like a real teacher to his student makes the wait for Shippuden feel much more earned than just skipping everything to get to the time skip
