Kurenai using that flower petal illusion to trick the clan guy was so cool and seeing her handle business alone even if it is dangerous was impressive

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 204 of 220, this falls deep within the original Naruto series' extended filler stretch that bridges the gap before Shippuden. It directly follows 'Kurenai's Decision: Team 8 Left Behind,' which raised questions about Kurenai's abrupt departure from her squad, and this episode begins answering those questions by introducing Yakumo Kurama and her sealed abilities. It sets the stage for the next installment, 'Kurenai's Top-Secret Mission: The Promise With the Third Hokage,' which promises to dig even further into the obligations driving Kurenai's choices.
