The fight in both sides are shown simultaneously. The fights are very different, Kakashi's fight looked tense much like a game of chess while on Naruto's side is action packed.

Better-paced episode. The talking wasn't as draggy as the last one bc it's more about the jutsu in this episode. The team synergy is solidifying too

Better than the last, the lore drop made for a better dialogue point. Cool build up with that last scene to keep the tension up

Still too much talking but the hype is picking back up, especially with that cliffhanger

The action sequence, divided into two - (i) Zabuza and Kakashi, (ii) Naruto, Sasuke and Haku, felt amazing. A walk-off tension, move after move explanation, and rapid animated display of tricks makes this episode stand out from the lot. I also liked its mysterious sound effects.

The mist countering the Sharingan is a great tactical twist. Kakashi being forced to anticipate rather than react changes the fight completely. The situation deteriorating on all fronts creates genuine tension.

sasuke tracking haku through the mirrors was the only thing that felt like progress because naruto keeps running in without a plan and getting stabbed with needles which is getting a bit annoying to watch at this point

i was genuinely terrified when zabuza appeared behind sakura and tazuna because kakashi is too far away to do anything and they are both basically defenseless in that thick mist

the land of waves arc is taking forever to get through and even though the fight is cool there are way too many flashbacks and talking parts for a ninja battle

Zabuza was really just playing the long game during that first fight, and now he has Kakashi completely figured out which makes this mist battle feel so much more dangerous

haku seems like a good kid deep down even if zabuza treats him like a weapon and it makes you wonder if he actually wants to kill naruto and sasuke

Hearing Zabuza explain the hypnotic eye trick made the first fight feel even cooler and it makes sense why he is so confident now

I really hated how long the recap was at the start of the episode, but the fight on the bridge is so tense that it almost made up for it. Seeing Sasuke realize that Haku was getting tired and actually using his brain to predict the movements showed how much better he is getting at reading the enemy, especially compared to Naruto just rushing in

Naruto trying those shadow clones over and over is so frustrating but his stubbornness is the only reason Sasuke got a chance to see Haku move

Watching Zabuza take those hits in the first fight just to learn the Sharingan secrets was wild and now Kakashi is stuck in the mist, with no way to see the attacks coming

Zabuza appearing behind Sakura while Kakashi was stuck in the mist was a total nightmare, and that scream at the end was genuinely haunting

My nerves were shot when Sasuke finally tracked Haku and managed to singe his sleeve with a fireball because Haku seemed invincible until that moment

I can't believe Zabuza just closed his eyes and countered the Sharingan like that. He really turned Kakashi's best weapon into a weakness and the ending with Sakura screaming is terrifying

Having Kakashi completely blind in that thick mist because of Zabuza's sound strategy shows how dangerous he really is

I was so stressed seeing Kakashi standing in that white void while Zabuza just talked about how he can kill him by sound alone

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep in the Land of Waves arc, episode 15 escalates directly from 'The Number One Hyperactive, Knucklehead Ninja Joins the Fight!' as the bridge confrontation intensifies across multiple fronts. This is the pressure-cooker episode before the arc's emotional climax, pushing every member of Team 7 to their breaking point. It sets the stage directly for 'The Broken Seal,' where the fallout from these battles takes a dramatic and pivotal turn.
