EPISODE REVIEWS

I was yelling at the screen when Gaara showed up and seeing the sand siblings act as allies now is such a cool turn for the series

I never thought I would be cheering for the sand siblings after the chunin exams but Kankuro turning the tables on Sakon with that puppet swap was brilliant

Episode Context

Arriving deep in the Sasuke Retrieval arc, episode 125 follows a stretch of brutal one-on-one battles where the Leaf squad was pushed to their limits, particularly after the devastating events of 'The Beast Within.' The Sand Siblings' intervention fundamentally changes the trajectory of these fights and directly sets up the highly anticipated 'Showdown: Gaara vs. Kimimaro!' in the next episode, escalating both the stakes and the scale of combat heading into the arc's climax.
