I honestly felt so anxious the entire time Kiba was trying to escape, because the bond he has with Akamaru is just so special. Seeing him resort to stabbing himself just to protect his dog was such a brutal and desperate moment. It really highlights how high the stakes are, and I am just praying that reinforcements show up soon.
