EPISODE REVIEWS

those sound four guys merging with people is pure nightmare fuel and seeing them literally rip through kiba from the inside was actually hard to watch

kiba is taking such a beating in this fight and it really feels like he might not make it out of this one in one piece

Episode Context

Sitting past the halfway mark of the original 220-episode run, episode 120 continues the escalating pursuit-and-combat arc against the Sound Four, directly following the complications introduced in 'Miscalculation: A New Enemy Appears!' The Leaf retrieval squad is now scattered into individual engagements, and this episode deepens those confrontations before 'To Each His Own Battle' further isolates each fight for dedicated character development and rising stakes.
