Episode Context

Falling in the middle of the Land of Tea Escort Mission filler arc, this episode picks up directly from 'Run Idate Run! Nagi Island Awaits!' where the team encountered escalating obstacles during a high-stakes race. 'A Fierce Battle of Rolling Thunder!' ramps up the conflict significantly, serving as the arc's action peak before leading into 'The Last Leg: A Final Act of Desperation,' which brings this filler mission to its conclusion. At episode 105 of 220, this sits firmly in the original series' mid-run stretch of filler content between major canon arcs.
