Okay, so I usually bail on filler arcs, but man, this Guren arc actually grabbed me right away; I think it's because that creepy vibe in Orochimaru's hideout was so good. And seeing Hinata really shine, using her Byakugan to deftly avoid all those traps, just made me wonder if she's finally going to get some more time in the spotlight after all these years. It's kinda refreshing to have the focus shift for a bit while Naruto's off training with Jiraiya, makes me hopeful for what other characters might do.
