I honestly couldn't believe it when Shikamaru pulled off that insane blood trick to finally get Hidan, I was so glued to the screen wondering how he'd ever manage it. His calmness throughout the whole ordeal, especially after everything he'd been through, really showed me how much he's grown and the fierce resolve he has to protect his friends.
