I wasn't expecting Asuma to be the one who killed Sora's dad, that reveal genuinely threw me for a loop, especially since I'm usually not invested in filler. Seeing Naruto try so hard to connect with Sora over that profound loneliness felt really resonant, like he understands exactly what Sora's going through because he's lived it too. It makes me see Asuma in a more complex light after all this.
