EPISODE REVIEWS

Orochimaru being scared of tiny insects is the funniest thing this show has done in a long time and I love that they gave Shino some actual screen time for once

Episode Context

This episode is part of the 'Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding' arc, which frames the final stretch of Shippuden around preparations for Naruto and Hinata's wedding, using the event as a lens to check in on beloved side characters one last time. The previous episode focused on Gaara's search for a wedding gift, and 'The Last Mission' shifts to Team 8's personal contribution and closure. With only two episodes left after this, the series is steadily converging on its emotional finale.
