Obito finally acting like the kid who wanted to be Hokage and saving Kakashi one last time was a great way for his story to end

Kaguya is terrifying with those ash bones and the way she just switches dimensions and crushes everyone with gravity is honestly too much for Team 7

The pacing felt really dragged out with the Rin scenes, but the soundtrack when the ash bone hit Obito was absolutely beautiful

My heart sank when I saw Rin waiting for Obito at the end and it actually made me forgive him for all the war stuff

Watching Kakashi blame himself for being weak while Obito crumbled into ash was the saddest part of the entire Kaguya battle so far

The way Kaguya just forced everyone to the ground with gravity was scary and seeing the ash bone slowly head toward Naruto and Sasuke was such a tense moment

Kakashi looked so broken standing there in the heavy gravity while Obito took the hit and seeing him feel that useless against Kaguya was painful

I am really torn because that new music for Obito was perfect and seeing him finally reach for Rin's hand brought back so many memories of the early show, but I could have done without fifteen minutes of flashbacks we have seen a dozen times before. It felt like the actual fight with Kaguya barely moved because we were stuck in the past

Obito choosing to save Kakashi from the ash bone was heavy and it finally feels like he made up for everything he did as Tobi

I hated seeing those same flashbacks of Rin and Obito for the hundredth time and they really slowed down the whole gravity fight

Obito finally found peace and watching him crumble while smiling at Kakashi was way more emotional than when Neji died earlier in the arc

That shot of young Obito running toward the light and Rin holding his hand was the perfect way to send him off after all the chaos he caused

That new music track during the sacrifice was incredible and it made the whole scene feel so much more important than just another death in a war

Obito saving Kakashi one last time really shows how much he actually cared deep down, and seeing them standing together as kids again was the highlight of the whole fight.

The animation for the ash bones looked great and the ending was sad but they really did not need to show us his entire childhood for the hundredth time

Naruto calling Obito the coolest guy while he turned to dust was a bit much for me but the way Rin was waiting for him at the end was beautiful

I think the anime really did justice to Obito's final moments, even more than the manga did because the music was just perfect. It was hard watching him crumble away while telling Naruto to become Hokage, but seeing him finally reunite with Rin in that white space made me feel like his story finally had a real ending after everything he did.

Obito used his last bit of strength to warp that bone away from Kakashi and it was a massive moment for their friendship plus the new music made it sad

Obito turning into ash while Naruto tried to save him actually hurt to watch and he finally got to see Rin again after all that mess

I am so tired of seeing the same bridge scene with Rin and Kakashi every single week because it totally killed the mood of Obito dying

EPISODE CONTEXT

Arriving deep in the final stretch of Shippuden at episode 471 of 500, this canon episode escalates the confrontation with Kaguya that 'Connecting Thoughts' set into motion, pushing key characters into pivotal decisions under extreme pressure. The emotional and physical consequences of this episode feed directly into 'You Better...,' continuing the cascade of character-defining moments. This is endgame territory — the series is paying off years of setup, and every episode here carries significant narrative weight.
