Hagoromo's journey, tirelessly searching for homes for each of the tailed beasts, made me genuinely feel for him; he was so dedicated, almost as if he was trying to give them the loving upbringing he himself might have missed out on. I wondered if he felt a personal responsibility to ensure their happiness after everything.
