It is wild thinking about how the entire history of shinobi started because Kaguya was basically an alien that fell from the sky and ate a piece of fruit

That ending where she traps everyone in the trees was creepy and it shows how far she was willing to go once her heart broke

I felt so bad for Kaguya when she looked at the God Tree because she just wanted peace and everyone turned on her for no reason

Kaguya floating in front of that massive moon after eating the fruit looked incredible and the music made the whole moment feel so heavy

The sight of Aino getting hit by all those arrows was actually brutal and it makes sense why Kaguya lost her mind after that

You really get a different perspective on the Infinite Tsukuyomi when you realize it started as a way to stop all the pointless wars in that era

I cannot get over how she just came from the stars and that whole alien reveal feels so different for this show but seeing her actually care about Aino and Tenji before everything went wrong was actually good

The way the Land of Ka just manipulated Tenji into hunting Kaguya was so frustrating to watch and he did not even try to protect her

I usually find filler annoying but this one actually makes Kaguya feel like a real person with a tragic past rather than just a random final boss. The scene where Aino sacrifices herself really hurt and seeing the world before anyone had chakra was a cool change of pace. I actually understand why she wanted to start the Infinite Tsukuyomi now.

You can really see how much Tenji messed up by choosing his land over his own wife and children and it just made Kaguya seem so lonely

Watching Aino run toward the army just to get mowed down made my stomach turn, and I can't believe Tenji just stood there and let it happen to the mother of his children.

Woah, finding out the Sage of Six Paths' mom had such a rough beginning really makes me rethink everything I thought I knew about shinobi history. It’s wild how this tragic backstory makes the whole Otsutsuki thing feel so much more real and interconnected, almost like it’s been there all along, just waiting for us to uncover it.

I was actually kinda surprised by Kaguya's arrival as this alien who just wanted peace; it makes her feel less like a pure villain and more like someone driven by circumstances, which is a lot more compelling than just a big bad from the manga.

Suddenly bringing in these aliens and weird chakra fruits right when the Ninja War is at its peak completely pulled me out of the story; it just felt so bizarre and disconnected from everything we've been building up to. Tenji's absolute spinelessness in the face of all that chaos made my blood boil though, I just couldn't believe he was so weak-willed.

Wow, I never imagined the original Infinite Tsukuyomi would look so eerily beautiful, not just dark. It got me thinking how messed up it was to see Kaguya resort to something so extreme, genuinely believing she was saving people by trapping them in a dream world to stop endless wars.

The sheer idea of the Divine Tree just *appearing* from the sky, then Kaguya turning it into this twisted prison for anyone against her, just sent a shiver down my spine. It makes me wonder what her true motives were, and if she was always this cold, or if some event hardened her heart before she even landed.

Okay, so the romance arc during the war still felt like such a weird detour, and I was kinda annoyed it took up so much screen time. But Kaguya, seeing her gaze fixed on the stars, just waiting for her people, actually made me feel this unexpected wave of sadness for her; she didn't seem like a monster at all, just someone profoundly, heartbreakingly lonely.

Woah, seeing Kaguya just absolutely obliterate those soldiers from the Land of Ka really made me feel like the threat is real now, like way more than when she first showed up. I didn't expect such a brutal display, and it totally changes my perception of how dangerous she actually is.

I honestly never cared much for Kaguya as a villain, but this episode actually made me feel for her, like she was just trying to find peace with Tenji before everything went sideways because of plain human greed. It's wild to me how that single act of eating the fruit and activating the Infinite Tsukuyomi completely changed her, and it makes her ultimate goal feel so much more tragic now that I know her past.

Woah, I honestly didn't expect such brutal scenes with the arrows and all that blood, and seeing Aino actually die really got to me. It makes so much sense now why Kaguya just completely lost all faith in humans after that kind of betrayal; I can totally see how something like that would break her.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Landing at episode 460 of 500, this filler installment follows 'She of the Beginning' and expands on Kaguya Otsutsuki's origin story during a stretch of episodes dedicated to backstory and mythology. It directly sets up the next episode, 'Hagoromo and Hamura,' which continues tracing Kaguya's lineage and its consequences for the shinobi world. This run of filler episodes provides optional lore context for the series' endgame but sits outside the core narrative progression.
