I dont know how to feel about Kaguya showing up out of nowhere when Madara was such a good villain and now he just looks like a puppet

Naruto and Sasuke standing their ground together was great, but Black Zetsu pulling the strings on the entire ninja history is a lot to take in

Madara getting stabbed in the back by his own shadow was wild and I did not see Black Zetsu being the real mastermind this whole time

Ending the Itachi arc like that felt so rushed and Izumi deserved way more screen time before things jumped back into this mess

I gotta say, finally getting to see Madara's past and understand his twisted vision for peace really threw me for a loop; I almost found myself agreeing with him for a second there. It's wild how his ideal world could feel so right, even though I knew all along it was just a fragile dream destined to crumble.

My mind is still reeling from Kaguya's sudden appearance; I really felt like all of Madara's epic build-up as the ultimate villain got completely undermined when she just took over. We spent so much time learning about his history and power, only for him to just disappear for someone who literally popped up out of nowhere. It just feels like a cheap way to end his story.

I seriously can't believe Madara got played like that, he really thought he was the one pulling the strings only for Black Zetsu to just stab him right in the back. It just makes me wonder how long that slimy guy had been planning it.

I seriously can't believe Madara, *the* Madara, got backstabbed by Black Zetsu of all people; it completely flips how I view his entire legacy and makes me question if any of his grand schemes were truly his own. It just shows he was ultimately a pawn in Kaguya's long game, and that really puts everything we thought we knew about this war in a different light.

I actually thought it was a pretty cool tidbit that Sasuke was named after the Third Hokage's father; it made me wonder if that was always meant to be some kind of foreshadowing for him. But man, all that went out the window the second Zetsu pulled that betrayal, I was genuinely shocked by how fast everything went from a revelation to pure chaos.

When Zetsu's arm went straight through Madara, I swear I gasped out loud—who saw that coming after everything Madara had done?! The slow dawning horror on his face, realizing his entire life's struggle was just a setup for someone else, it really twisted my gut; for a second, I actually felt bad for the guy, watching his grand vision just crumble into nothing but a lie.

After finally getting some closure on Itachi's tragic story, I really thought the biggest threats were behind us in the ninja world. But then, an alien reveal? My jaw absolutely dropped; I'm genuinely scratching my head wondering how anyone, even the strongest shinobi, is supposed to fight against something completely otherworldly and what this means for everything we know.

Kaguya's sudden appearance completely blindsided me, I swear I almost choked on my snack when she just *manifested* after all that drawn-out Itachi backstory. Seriously, how in the world are Naruto and Sasuke even *remotely* prepared for a threat this ancient and overwhelming? I'm already stressed out thinking about it.

My jaw practically hit the floor learning Black Zetsu had been plotting Kaguya's resurrection for literally centuries. It really makes me wonder if Madara ever even knew a moment of true agency, or if his entire life was just a puppet show for that ancient scheme.

When Kaguya suddenly showed up and elbowed Madara out of the picture, I just stared at the screen, utterly bewildered. Seriously, after all the intricate planning and epic battles leading up to him, it felt like the rug was pulled out from under me, cheapening all that intense build-up for the final villain.

I really can't believe Black Zetsu just pulled that on Madara; after all the hype around him being the ultimate villain, it felt so cheap for him to just get stabbed in the back like that. It made me feel like all the intensity leading up to his supposed final battle was kind of for nothing, which is super frustrating.

I felt so utterly blindsided when Zetsu just turned on Madara like that, especially when it clicked that *he* was the mastermind pulling every single string since the very beginning. My mind is still reeling trying to piece together how much of the entire ninja world's history was just part of his dark, manipulative plan.

OMG, when Black Zetsu just *merged* with Madara and dropped the Kaguya bomb, I was completely floored. Like, Madara was supposed to be the ultimate villain, and to find out he was just a piece in someone else's game, that really got to me.

Seriously, after all the absolute hell Madara put everyone through and how much he was built up as the ultimate big bad, I just can't believe he got taken out by a shadow puddle like that. It felt so cheap and undermined years of his terrifying presence, making me wonder if it was even worth all the struggle against him.

Honestly, the Kaguya reveal felt so out of nowhere, and it's wild how it kinda makes me feel like everything with Itachi was just a stepping stone, which is a bit disappointing after all that build-up.

Man, I was really hoping for more from Itachi's light novel adaptation, especially the Izumi part; it just felt so rushed to me, like they couldn't wait to get back to the main fight, which honestly disappointed me because that relationship deserved more time.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off episode 457 "Partner," which put alliances and true intentions under the microscope, "Truth" escalates those revelations into a pivotal turning point as the series approaches its final chapters. This episode bridges the scrutiny of shifting loyalties into territory that directly sets the stage for "She of the Beginning," introducing critical narrative elements that will shape the climactic events ahead. At episode 458 of 500, the series is deep in its endgame — skipping this one means missing connective tissue that pays off shortly after.
