When those Akatsuki orphans started acting exactly like Team Jiraiya, testing the Leaf kids instead of going for the kill, my jaw dropped. I'm still trying to process if Jiraiya's influence was truly so profound it touched people he never even met, or if there's a far more sinister long game at play here that I'm completely oblivious to.
