Team Guy rushing into that desert trap to stop the chakra extraction was the only good part and at least the preview shows Kakuzu might actually show up soon to make things interesting

This filler arc is dragging on so much and even seeing Neji show off his tactical side while helping Matsuri doesnt make up for how slow this whole chunin exam story is moving

I actually liked seeing Neji take charge because it reminds me why he was such a beast before the later arcs sidelined him so much. It sucks that Fuu and Gaara are just stuck there while the extraction happens but Team Guy jumping in to save the day felt right. I just wish they stopped mentioning Naruto every five minutes though

Seeing Neji step up to handle that crazy chain monk was cool, but the pacing of this arc is just killing the hype for the actual war

Why is every single character in these fillers obsessed with wondering what Naruto would do in every situation because it really ruins the cool moments Neji gets against Houichi and the chain thing

My heart broke seeing Fuu and Gaara getting their chakra ripped out like that and I just wanted Neji to hurry up and break those seals before things got even worse for them

I really miss Neji so seeing him lead the team to save Gaara was nice but the constant talking about what Naruto would do is getting on my nerves and making the filler feel so repetitive

Okay, seeing Neji pop in for the rescue was pretty sweet, and it always gets me hyped to see him in action. But honestly, I'm just so over this filler arc already; I really wish they'd just get back to the actual war storyline because it feels like forever.

I was so hyped for Gaara's rescue, but that sandstorm scene just felt off – the sudden drop in art quality really yanked me out of the tension. It felt like the animators might have rushed through such a pivotal moment, which honestly just made me feel a bit let down for what was supposed to be a dramatic fight.

Ugh, the pacing this week was just a slog for me, and honestly, seeing that cocoon shot so many times just made my eyes glaze over, I seriously considered just jumping ahead because it felt like nothing was really happening.

Ugh, I'm finding it so hard to get into this arc right now, especially when the action scenes look so clunky, like that spinning kick from Lee that just felt totally weightless. Seriously, all these desert still shots are making the story drag so much, I'm just hoping the Akatsuki finally show up to shake things up and get this over with because I'm ready for something to move on from this.

I get why Neji saved the jinchuriki, it was definitely the right call for the situation. But honestly, hearing him say Naruto would do the same just makes me roll my eyes; I'm so over that line, especially after everything Neji went through to finally find his own path.

Seriously, this filler has been dragging on forever, and I was so close to just turning it off. But then, *boom*, the Akatsuki flashed across the screen in the preview and suddenly I was like, wait, are we actually getting somewhere good now? My fingers were literally hovering over the remote, but that little glimpse gave me just enough hope to stick around.

Did Gaara really need that whole flashback to Naruto just to explain why he's helping Fuu? I mean, I thought we all got that connection years ago; it just felt like it slowed things down without giving me any new insight into him.

Neji's quick thinking with the Gentle Fist to block that chakra extraction was a genuinely clever move, and I was really impressed by his tactical mind under pressure. It's frustrating though, because it feels like every other time someone's chakra gets siphoned away, they just don't have a counter. My boy always finds a way.

It felt like I spent half the episode just staring at that same cocoon from five different angles, and I was so ready for them to finally move on. Seriously, my mind kept screaming, 'Get to the fight already!' when every single cut was just another shot of it, and it really messed with the tension I had built up.

My disappointment was instant when Rock Lee tried that kick; it looked like he was wading through water, not delivering his usual explosive impact. I really felt like that moment, which should've been super intense, got totally undercut by how clunky the animation was.

Ugh, I'm just gonna say it, I'm so over these filler episodes, and watching Neji literally just stand there staring at that cocoon for what felt like an eternity was seriously pushing my patience. Like, what even was the point of all that screen time if nothing was actually happening?

Ugh, I'm so over seeing that same cocoon shot repeated for what feels like the hundredth time this episode, it's honestly making me lose my patience. I just want the story to move forward, and it feels like we barely got anything new to chew on.

I was genuinely surprised and so happy to see Neji jump in to help Gaara, it really felt like he finally got what Naruto was saying way back in the Chunin Exams. It's awesome to see how much he's grown since then, like he's finally embracing that 'destiny can be changed' mindset.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Falling deep within Shippuden's extended filler stretch, episode 412 follows 'The Targeted Tailed Beast,' which placed Gaara and Fū in danger, and precedes 'Hopes Entrusted to the Future,' continuing the filler Chūnin Exams storyline. This episode is entirely skippable for viewers tracking the Fourth Great Ninja War arc, but it serves as a character spotlight for Neji within the filler exam narrative. The surrounding episodes continue to explore side missions and backstory vignettes before the series returns to canon material.
