Why did we have to trek through the desert with Asuma and Kurenai just to deliver a letter? I felt so disconnected, like my brain was wandering off to all the other intense battles and character drama happening elsewhere in the ninja world, and this mission felt so insignificant I was practically begging for a timeskip.
