Obito’s chest, literally pierced through like that, was such a gut punch for me to see; it’s like a brutal, physical manifestation of how absolutely hollow he’s become inside because of everything he lost. I keep thinking about how he just can't move past those old hurts, and it makes me wonder if there's even anything left of the real Obito in there at all.
