My heart ached watching Kakashi during his ANBU days, it’s clear he was so lost and burdened by his past, and I can totally see why he’s so fiercely protective of Team 7 now. He carries such a heavy weight from what happened with Obito and Rin, making him desperately want to prevent any similar tragedy from befalling his new students.
