Nagato's complete breakdown after that betrayal just completely gutted me; it was so raw, and I could finally see the true beginning of the path that turned him into Pain. The way the soundtrack swelled right then? It cemented this whole heartbreaking shift in his character for me, leaving me feeling the full weight of his despair.

I usually skip the filler episodes in this show but this one actually felt important for understanding Nagato, and seeing Yahiko die like that was brutal and it makes the entire Rain Village situation so much more depressing plus seeing Danzo manipulate Hanzo behind the scenes just makes me hate his character even more than I already did, which I didn't think was possible
