When Itachi gave Sasuke that forehead poke, I actually gasped a little, seeing him instantly soften like that. It just proved to me that no matter how much pain Sasuke carried, that small gesture from his brother always cut through everything, and it makes me wonder if he finally understood Itachi's true feelings in that moment.
