I actually teared up when Itachi told Naruto that he needs to let people help him if he wants to be Hokage because it feels like Naruto is finally learning what true leadership means

That goodbye with Nagato just felt so heavy, but in a good way, you know? I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of relief for him, thinking about how Jiraiya would have absolutely swelled with pride seeing his old student finally at peace after so much suffering.

The fight against that massive Chibaku Tensei was intense, but Itachi humbling Naruto was the real highlight. He reminded him that being strong doesnt mean you should do everything alone, and that the village has to accept you first. It was exactly what Naruto needed to hear before he loses himself in this war

Itachi overriding the reanimation and taking his own soul back was so cool and nobody else could have pulled that off against Kabuto

It was kind of funny seeing Naruto try to rush Nagato with a Rasengan like a total idiot, but I am glad Itachi was there to talk some sense into him

Itachi is always three steps ahead of everyone and him using Shisui's eye to break the control was such a smart move that saved the whole mission

Combining those three massive attacks to blow up that gravity sphere was incredible to watch and the scale of the destruction was huge

My soul left my body when Itachi and Bee started working together because seeing those three on the same side was just pure hype

My jaw absolutely dropped when Itachi just showed up like that, I truly thought Kabuto had the upper hand until that moment. Now I'm betting Kabuto's confidence is totally crumbling, especially with his reanimation jutsu falling apart right as Itachi, of all people, is coming straight for him.

The action in this one was seriously awesome, but man, that random old scenes montage at the end just totally killed the flow. I was so hyped up and then it felt like they just slammed on the brakes, kinda made me wonder if they were trying to stretch for time or something.

When that massive gravity sphere threatened to crush everything, I genuinely wasn't sure how they'd overcome it, but seeing them perfectly link the beads and Rasengan was such a relief. My jaw dropped at how seamlessly they pulled that off, truly showing how far they've come working as a team.

Itachi breaking free from Kabuto's control was just incredible; I mean, after everything he's been through, to just take back his own will and defy fate like that? It really showed me how deep his convictions run, especially since he's always been about protecting Konoha his own way.

Itachi telling Naruto he couldn't solo the war was exactly what I needed to hear, honestly; I was getting so frustrated with his stubbornness. Seeing him team up so smoothly with Bee and Naruto against Nagato just reinforces how much he's always protected the Leaf from the shadows, even when I thought he was a total villain. The final montage, though, felt like it dragged on a bit too long, breaking the momentum of their fight.

I was seriously taken aback when Itachi told Naruto that being Hokage is about earning acknowledgment from everyone, not just getting the title. It just made me reflect on how much Naruto has already achieved, gathering so much support and respect from people who used to shun him, and it felt like Itachi was really seeing into his heart there.

I was so incredibly relieved when Nagato finally got sealed away, like a huge weight lifted off my chest. But then Kabuto just had to pop up looking all smug, and honestly, I'm genuinely terrified about what he's planning next; it always feels like he's got something even more twisted up his sleeve.

I totally felt that moment when Itachi told Naruto he couldn't shoulder everything by himself; honestly, Naruto's arrogance has been getting on my nerves lately, and it made me wonder if Itachi was subtly reminding him of how much he used to crave connection.

Itachi actually fighting alongside Bee and Naruto against that giant rock ball? I gotta say, I didn't see that coming after everything he's been through alone; it was wild watching their combined jutsu just absolutely obliterate it.

Did Kabuto really think he had Itachi cornered? I mean, for a split second, *I* actually fell for it, feeling a genuine jolt of surprise! It just reaffirmed my belief that Itachi is always playing 4D chess, meticulously weaving layer after layer into his strategies, and it makes me wonder how far back he plans these things.

I was genuinely stunned when Itachi pulled out Shisui's eye to break free; it really felt like a callback to his earlier sacrifices for the village, and seeing him team up with Naruto and Bee to finally take down Nagato was so satisfying. His words to Naruto about what truly makes a Hokage felt incredibly profound coming from him, even if that recap montage at the end was a bit much.

I gotta say, when Itachi told Naruto that being strong isn't about shouldering everything solo, it really resonated with me. I was actually surprised to see Naruto take his words to heart, especially knowing how much he usually just charges ahead without thinking.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 299 of 500, this falls squarely in the Fourth Great Ninja War saga and directly continues the confrontation set up in 'Contact! Naruto vs. Itachi,' escalating the conflict with reanimated shinobi. It deepens the evolving dynamics between Naruto, Killer Bee, and their resurrected adversaries while reinforcing the war's central tension of the living fighting the weaponized dead. The episode builds toward subsequent chapters that expand the Allied Shinobi Forces' struggle against increasingly dangerous Edo Tensei threats.
