Gaara, standing so strong and composed before his father, really brought back a rush of memories of how utterly terrifying he was during those Chunin Exams, and it makes my stomach twist thinking about the burden his dad put on him. I'm honestly still in disbelief at his transformation, and I can't help but wonder if his father feels the sting of his past actions seeing the incredible leader Gaara became.
