It was amazing to see the way that the characters are progressing through every fight.

This must watch. Sasori is finally defeated by his own puppet parents; it is celebratory and also heartbreaking. Kakashi's mangekyo is about to be used. This is new excitement; jump to other scenes.

Sakura looked so tough taking that hit from Sasori and still standing up and she really carried her weight in this entire fight and proved she is a real ninja now

I felt so bad for Sasori when he let those parent puppets stab him and he just wanted a hug from his mom and dad and it actually broke my heart

Watching Sasori choose to die in the arms of his parent puppets really got to me, because it showed how much he was still just that lonely kid from the flashbacks. I didn't think I would feel bad for a guy who turned himself into a doll, but the way Chiyo looked at him with so much regret made the ending hurt

Chiyo giving that antidote to Sakura was such a heavy move and she really put all her faith in the next generation right there

Chiyo's final act totally gutted me, I was really in my feelings about her sacrifice being so selfless and definitive. But then Sakura just…wakes up? That totally took the wind out of my sails, and I kinda felt like the episode pulled its punches, lessening the raw emotion of the moment.

When I heard Chiyo created that jutsu just to bring Sasori's parents back, my heart just sank; it really shows how desperate she was to fix things and probably what eventually pushed Sasori so far into his puppet obsession, too.

I can't believe Sasori was just waiting for a hug from his parents; that reveal when he died by their puppets totally gutted me. It makes you think about how lonely he must've been his whole life, like, his whole puppet obsession was just this twisted way of getting that family connection he never had, which is just so tragic.

Kakashi's eye shifting suddenly after that wild battle with Sasori and his creepy puppets completely caught me off guard. It made me realize how much power he's likely been hiding, and now I'm super curious about what other surprises he has in store.

My heart absolutely shattered when Chiyo gave up her life to save Sakura, I really wasn't expecting a puppet master battle to hit that hard. Knowing she used a jutsu she initially developed for Gaara to save someone else felt so deeply sad and redemptive all at once, making me wonder if she was thinking about her grandson in that moment too.

When those puppets struck Sasori down, I genuinely felt a pang of sadness because he clearly just accepted it, desperate for that parental touch no matter how fake. It made me think about all those years he spent as a puppet himself, maybe longing for a real connection but settling for this final, tragic embrace.

I still can't get over Sasori's end; his whole life was about denying emotion and trying to be eternal, yet he died embraced by his puppet parents, which honestly makes me wonder how much he actually longed for that kind of connection. And man, I'm genuinely surprised by how Sakura handled herself; she was a total tank and really showed everyone who doubted her that she could hold her own against an Akatsuki-level threat.

Sakura, after surviving that insane poison, I honestly couldn't believe she just bounced back into the fight without a second thought; it was a huge, defining moment for her. For me, it finally showed she's not the timid medic we saw struggling before, and I'm so hyped to see her keep pushing her limits.

When Chiyo started moving Sasori’s parent puppets, I didn't think it would be so heartbreaking, almost like she was trying to mend something broken within herself by controlling them. And that flashback? Seeing little Sasori just sitting there, waiting for parents who would never return, completely flipped my understanding of his twisted 'art' — it’s not just evil, it’s a desperate attempt to hold onto something he lost, which is just tragic.

Ugh, I seriously can't get over Sasori just letting those puppet versions of his parents stab him, he didn't even flinch. It was so messed up how he just stood there, almost like he wanted that final, twisted 'embrace' from them, even if it was just lifeless wood.

I could really feel the struggle Chiyo was going through when she had to fight her own grandson with those puppets; it wasn't just a physical fight, but a really tragic internal one for her. And then, that final hug just utterly broke my heart, it felt like such a desperate attempt to bridge a lifetime of distance in one last moment.

When Sasori finally fell to Chiyo, it was a relief, but then he reached for those puppet parents, and honestly, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for him. It was like, even at the very end, he was still longing for the real connection he never got to experience, which totally reshaped how I saw his whole obsession with puppets.

I was honestly so hyped seeing Sakura finally go toe-to-toe with Sasori, it felt like she wasn't just a bystander anymore and was actually on the same level as the boys, you know? But then Chiyo using her last antidote on Sakura totally blindsided me, I never would've expected that level of selflessness from a rival village's elder, and it just made the ending feel incredibly bittersweet.

When Chiyo's final blow landed, Sasori standing there, almost willingly, between his parent puppets really got to me. It made me realize that all his villainy might have just been a desperate, twisted attempt to fill that void of parental love, and in the end, he just wanted to be "home" with them. The idea that he'd choose death for that makes my heart ache for his lost childhood.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 27 continues the climactic Sasori confrontation that has been building since the Kazekage Rescue arc kicked off Shippuden's opening stretch, directly following the large-scale puppet battle of episode 26. This episode serves as a pivotal turning point in that fight, carrying major emotional payoff before the narrative shifts focus in the next episode, 'Beasts: Alive Again!,' which redirects attention to Naruto and the rest of Team Kakashi facing their own escalating threats.
