Episode Context

Episode 268 follows 'The Brilliant Military Advisor of the Hidden Leaf,' which laid out the Allied Shinobi Forces' strategic positioning, now those plans meet reality as combat begins across multiple fronts. This marks the true escalation point of the Fourth Shinobi World War arc, transitioning from setup into sustained conflict. It establishes the individual battlefield threads that subsequent episodes will explore in greater depth, particularly the personal dilemmas that arise when reanimated shinobi force former allies into impossible fights.
