EPISODE REVIEWS

You can really see the difference in the art style for these redone scenes and it often looks worse than the stuff from ten years ago

Episode Context

Coming directly after the formation of the Allied Shinobi Forces, Episode 257 deliberately pumps the brakes on war preparations to look backward at the Naruto-Sasuke relationship from its very beginning. This retrospective serves as emotional groundwork, reinforcing the personal stakes beneath the large-scale conflict ahead. The following episode, 'Rivals,' continues this character-focused detour before the series returns to the Fourth Great Ninja War's escalation.
