Madara actually taking a hit for once was pretty satisfying, but then his whole spiel about gifting Nagato the Rinnegan just felt like total B.S. to me. I'm starting to think he just makes up these grandiose claims to boost his own legend, which honestly makes me question everything he's ever said about his past dealings.
