I was genuinely taken aback by Motoi's dark past with Bee, and it's wild how he tried to get revenge when they were kids, which honestly makes me wonder how Bee got past that. Naruto being stuck at the waterfall makes so much sense to me now, since he's clearly still holding onto his own pain, totally different from how Bee just found happiness despite everyone pretty much hating him.
