The transition from the fathers fighting to the current trio taking over was done really well and it made the whole filler feel like it actually mattered for once

I usually skip filler, but I am glad I stayed for this one because seeing Inoichi and Shikaku and Choza back in their prime was such a treat. You finally see why they were so legendary in the first place, and it makes that brief mention of Asuma feel a lot heavier given how much the fathers obviously care about their students
