EPISODE REVIEWS

It was great seeing Sai stand up for Naruto because it shows how much he actually cares about their team now, and the return to the actual story feels good after those fillers.

Episode Context

Directly following the fallout from Danzo's controversial rise to Sixth Hokage, this episode deepens the personal and political consequences of that power shift before the major players converge. It serves as the final calm before the storm, bridging introspective character work into the explosive Five Kage Summit arc that begins with the next episode, 'Enter the Five Kage!' The transition from buildup to direct confrontation starts here.
