I gotta say, seeing how the adults in the village completely shunned Naruto really pissed me off, no wonder he went through all that trouble just to get a rise out of people. It just makes Iruka understanding him, like *really* understanding him, all the more impactful, especially after everything we've seen Naruto go through before.
