I always knew Iruka sensei had it rough, but seeing his early grief and isolation really made me feel how much he and Naruto were alike in their loneliness before they found each other. It’s wild to think how much a simple bowl of ramen from Teuchi meant to Naruto, especially now that I understand just how truly isolated he felt.
